The Ultra High Purity Reverse Osmosis System is designed for customers wanting comprehensive under-sink filtration in a compact, easy-to-maintain system.

Its five-stage filtration process includes dedicated sediment pre-filtration, carbon pre-filtration, reverse osmosis purification, AlkaHydrate mineralisation and final coconut carbon polishing.

The system produces approximately 200 litres of purified water per day under suitable operating conditions and uses hygienic twist-off cartridges for straightforward routine maintenance.

It is hand-built in Sydney using local, USA and UK components and wet-tested before supply.

The Ultra High Purity Reverse Osmosis System uses five filtration stages to progressively treat the incoming water before dispensing.

Stage 1 - Sediment pre-Filter

The sediment pre-filter provides the first stage of filtration.

It helps reduce:

• Dirt

• Sand

• Rust

• Silt

• Fine sediment

• Other suspended particles

This stage also helps protect the carbon filter and reverse osmosis membrane installed after it.

Stage 2 - Carbon Pre-Filter

The carbon pre-filter helps reduce:

• Chlorine

• Pesticides

• Selected organic contaminants

• Taste

• Odour

• Other unwanted impurities

This stage also helps protect the reverse osmosis membrane from chlorine exposure.

Stage 3 - Reverse Osmosis Membrane

The ultra-fine TFC reverse osmosis membrane provides the primary purification stage.

With filtration down to approximately 0.0005 micron, it helps reduce:

• Fluoride

• Selected heavy metals

• Dissolved impurities

• Hydrocarbons

• Bacteria

• Viruses

• Parasites

• Other microscopic contaminants

During reverse osmosis, purified water passes through the semi-permeable membrane while rejected impurities are flushed to the drain. 

Stage 4 – AlkaHydrate Filter

After reverse osmosis purification, the water passes through the AlkaHydrate Filter.

This stage remineralises and alkalises the purified water by introducing selected minerals including:

• Calcium

• Magnesium

• Potassium

• Other naturally occurring minerals

The AlkaHydrate stage also helps raise the pH of the purified water before it moves through the final polishing stage. 

Stage 5 – Coconut Carbon Post-Filter

The final stage uses a coconut carbon post-filter to polish the remineralised water before it reaches the faucet.

This stage helps:

• Improve final taste

• Reduce unwanted odour

• Provide final carbon polishing

• Produce a smooth, fresh-tasting finish

The Ultra High Purity Reverse Osmosis System can be ordered without a storage tank or paired with one of three pressurised RO storage tanks.

Suitable where a larger reserve of purified water is preferred.

The pressurised storage tank keeps purified water available for dispensing when required.

The Ultra High Purity Reverse Osmosis System with AlkaHydrate can be installed as a standalone under-sink filtration system because it already includes dedicated sediment and carbon pre-filtration.
