Aquala P500 Filter Replacement Cartridges

The Aquala P500 uses three quick-change cartridges across six filtration stages, with each cartridge designed to perform a different part of the filtration process.

Unlike systems where every filter is replaced at the same time, the Aquala P500 uses different replacement schedules for the PPC Filter, T33 Filter and RO Membrane.

The system's built-in filter-life indicators help you keep track of each cartridge and provide a reminder when a replacement is due.

-PPC Filter

The PPC Filter combines pre-sediment and carbon block filtration within one quick-change cartridge.

It provides the first two stages of filtration and helps reduce:

• Sediment

• Sand

• Rust

• Silt

• Chlorine

• Taste and odour

• Other common impurities in the incoming water supply

The PPC Filter also provides important pre-filtration before the water reaches the reverse osmosis membrane.

Recommended replacement: Every 6 months Indicative filter life: Approximately 2,000 litres*

If you purchased the current Aquala P500 package from Filtered Water Systems, one additional PPC cartridge is included with your system for your first scheduled 6-month filter change.

-T33 Filter

The T33 Filter combines carbon polishing, mineralisation and alkalisation within one cartridge.

After the water passes through the reverse osmosis membrane, the T33 Filter provides the final stages of filtration.

It helps:

• Improve final taste and odour

• Add selected minerals back into the purified water

• Add minerals including calcium and magnesium

• Support alkalisation of the final drinking water

• Provide final carbon polishing

Recommended replacement: Every 12 months Indicative filter life: Approximately 4,000 litres*

-RO Membrane

The RO Membrane provides the primary reverse osmosis purification stage of the Aquala P500.

The high-precision membrane helps reduce a range of dissolved and microscopic contaminants, including:

• Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)

• Lead

• Fluoride

• Selected heavy metals

• PFAS, PFOA and PFOS

• Salts

• Nitrates

• Bacteria

• Viruses

• Other dissolved impurities

Recommended replacement: Every 24 months Indicative filter life: Approximately 8,000 litres*

*Actual cartridge life may vary depending on incoming water quality, water pressure, usage and operating conditions.

Each filter follows its own replacement schedule, so you only need to replace the cartridge that is due.

The Aquala P500 helps take the guesswork out of knowing when your filters need replacing.

Built-in filter-life indicators keep track of the PPC, T33 and RO replacement cycles and provide visual and audible reminders when a cartridge reaches its replacement point.

This means you do not need to manually keep track of every replacement date.

After installing a new cartridge, the corresponding filter-life indicator can be reset on the Aquala P500.

Aquala P500 replacement cartridges are designed to make routine filter changes straightforward.

The existing cartridge is rotated and removed from the system before the new cartridge is inserted and locked into position.

There is no traditional filter housing to unscrew and no filter housing wrench required.

This makes ongoing filter replacement simple and convenient.
