Aquala P500 Tankless Reverse Osmosis System

The Aquala P500 Tankless Reverse Osmosis System uses a direct-flow design to filter water on demand, eliminating the need for a traditional reverse osmosis storage tank.

Its compact under-sink design helps save cupboard space while providing purified drinking water at up to 1.3 litres per minute, with maximum production of up to 500 GPD / 1,800 litres per day under suitable operating conditions.

The system uses three cartridges to deliver six stages of filtration. Incoming water passes through sediment and carbon filtration before reaching the 0.0001-micron reverse osmosis membrane. The final T33 cartridge then provides carbon polishing, mineralisation and alkalisation.

The P500 package also includes the Aquala Smart Faucet and one additional PPC replacement cartridge for the first scheduled 6-month filter change, so you do not need to purchase your first PPC replacement separately.

The system is suitable for homes, apartments and suitable workplace kitchens where high-quality purified drinking water is required without a bulky storage tank.

The Aquala P500 Tankless Reverse Osmosis System uses three cartridges to provide six stages of filtration.

- Stages 1 & 2 – PPC Sediment and Carbon Filtration

The PPC cartridge combines sediment and carbon filtration within one cartridge.

Sediment filtration helps reduce sand, rust, silt, suspended solids and other larger particles from the incoming water supply.

Carbon filtration helps reduce chlorine, taste, odour and selected organic compounds while helping protect the reverse osmosis membrane.

The PPC cartridge provides approximately 5-micron pre-filtration.

- Stage 3 – Reverse Osmosis Membrane

The high-precision reverse osmosis membrane provides the primary purification stage.

With filtration down to approximately 0.0001 micron, the membrane helps reduce total dissolved solids, fluoride, lead, selected heavy metals, nitrates, salts, bacteria, PFAS, PFOA, PFOS and other unwanted dissolved contaminants.

Rejected impurities are directed to the drain rather than remaining in the purified drinking water.

- Stages 4, 5 & 6 – T33 Carbon, Mineral and Alkaline Filtration

After reverse osmosis filtration, the purified water passes through the T33 cartridge.

The T33 cartridge provides:

• Final carbon polishing to support cleaner taste and odour

• Remineralisation by adding selected minerals including calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium

• Alkalisation to support a more balanced final water profile

Together, these final stages help produce fresh, smooth-tasting drinking water after reverse osmosis purification.

Keeping your Aquala P500 filters replaced on schedule helps maintain water quality, flow and overall system performance.

- PPC Cartridge

Function: Sediment and carbon pre-filtration.

Helps reduce chlorine, taste, odour, sand, rust, silt, suspended solids and other unwanted impurities before water reaches the RO membrane.

Recommended replacement: Every 6 months.

Your Aquala P500 package includes one additional PPC replacement cartridge for the first scheduled 6-month filter change.

- T33 Cartridge

Function: Carbon polishing, mineralisation and alkalisation.

Helps improve final taste while adding selected minerals back into the purified water.

Recommended replacement: Every 12 months.

- Reverse Osmosis Membrane

Function: High-precision reverse osmosis purification.

Helps reduce TDS, fluoride, lead, selected heavy metals, nitrates, salts, bacteria, PFAS, PFOA, PFOS and other dissolved contaminants.

Recommended replacement: Every 24 months.

Actual filter life may vary depending on incoming water quality, water pressure and usage.

The Aquala P500 includes electronic filter-life indicators on the front display.

Indicator bars show the remaining life of the PPC, RO and T33 cartridges. When a filter reaches its preset replacement point, the system provides a visual warning and an audible reminder.

After a cartridge is replaced, its filter-life indicator can be reset using the Reset and Select controls on the front panel.

The included Smart Faucet also provides convenient filter-life information directly at the tap.

The P500 includes a built-in digital display that monitors Total Dissolved Solids in the purified water while the system is operating.

The TDS reading reflects the water after reverse osmosis filtration and the T33 mineral-alkaline stage.

Because the T33 cartridge adds minerals back into the purified water, the displayed TDS value reflects the final remineralised drinking water.

The Aquala P500 includes an automatic flushing function designed to help maintain the reverse osmosis membrane.

The system automatically performs flushing cycles during situations including initial power-up, after extended periods without use and during prolonged operation.

Manual flushing can also be activated using the Select button on the front panel.

The P500 includes a leak sensor designed to provide additional protection for under-sink installations.

If the sensor detects water where it should not be present, the leak indicator activates, an audible warning sounds and the system stops producing water until the leak condition has been resolved.

The Aquala P500 eliminates the bulky storage tank used by many traditional reverse osmosis systems.

The Aquala P500 Tankless Reverse Osmosis System is designed for installation under the sink and connects to the cold water supply.

The system requires connections for:

• Cold feed water

• Purified water to the Smart Faucet

• Wastewater drain

• Power

• Leak sensor

For correct operation, the system should be installed on a suitable cold-water supply and within the recommended pressure and temperature range.

The system should not be installed outdoors, near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

The Aquala P500 comes with a 1-year product warranty, subject to correct installation, proper use and the applicable warranty conditions.

The system must be installed and operated within its recommended water pressure, water temperature, feed-water and electrical requirements.

Damage caused by incorrect or improper installation, misuse, unsuitable water pressure, connection to an unsuitable water supply, outdoor installation, lack of required maintenance, or failure to follow recommended installation, operating or maintenance requirements may not be covered under the product warranty.
