Compact High Purity Reverse Osmosis System with AlkaHydrate

The Compact High Purity Reverse Osmosis System is designed for installations where under-sink space is limited but high-quality reverse osmosis filtration is still required.

With a compact footprint of approximately 30 cm wide × 18 cm high × 17 cm deep, the filtration unit can fit into smaller kitchen cupboards while producing approximately 300 litres of purified water per day under suitable operating conditions.

The system uses hygienic twist-off cartridges, making routine filter replacement cleaner and simpler than conventional filter housings.

It is hand-built in Sydney using a combination of local, USA and UK components and is wet-tested before supply.

he Compact High Purity Reverse Osmosis System uses four stages of filtration to progressively treat the incoming water before it reaches the dedicated drinking-water faucet.

Stage 1 - Carbon Pre-Filter

The carbon pre-filter provides the first treatment stage.

It helps reduce:

• Chlorine

• Taste and odour

• Pesticides

• Selected organic compounds

• Selected heavy metals

• Other unwanted impurities

Reducing chlorine and other contaminants before the RO membrane also helps protect the membrane and support its filtration performance. 

Stage 2 - Reverse Osmosis Membrane

The ultra-fine TFC reverse osmosis membrane provides the primary purification stage.

With filtration down to approximately 0.0005 micron, it helps reduce:

• Fluoride

• Selected heavy metals

• Dissolved impurities

• Hydrocarbons

• Bacteria

• Viruses

• Parasites

• Other microscopic contaminants

During reverse osmosis, purified water passes through the semi-permeable membrane while rejected impurities are directed to the drain rather than remaining in the filtered water. 

Stage 3 - AlkaHydrate Filter

After reverse osmosis purification, the water passes through the AlkaHydrate Filter.

This stage provides mineralisation and alkalisation, adding selected minerals back into the purified water while helping create a more balanced final drinking-water profile.

The AlkaHydrate filter is designed to support increased pH and mineral content after reverse osmosis filtration. 

Stage 4 - Coconut Carbon Post Filter

The final stage uses a coconut carbon post-filter to polish the purified and remineralised water before it reaches the faucet.

This stage helps:

• Improve final taste

• Reduce unwanted odour

• Provide final carbon polishing

• Produce fresh-tasting drinking water

The coconut carbon post-filter provides the final polishing stage before dispensing.

Suitable where a larger supply of purified water is preferred.

The pressurised storage tank keeps purified water available for dispensing on demand and can be positioned upright or on its side where the installation space allows.

This system was specifically designed for installations where under-sink space is limited.

Filtration unit dimensions:

Despite its compact size, the system can produce approximately 300 litres of purified water per day under suitable water pressure and temperature conditions.

The filtration unit can sit on the cupboard base or be mounted to the cupboard wall using suitable clips where installation space allows.

The Compact High Purity Reverse Osmosis System uses hygienic twist-off replacement cartridges.

Instead of opening traditional filter housings, the cartridges can be removed directly from the system and replaced with new cartridges.

This provides a cleaner, simpler and more convenient approach to routine system maintenance.

The Compact High Purity Reverse Osmosis System comes with a 1-year product warranty, subject to correct installation, proper use and the applicable warranty conditions.

The system must be installed and operated according to its recommended water supply, pressure, temperature and maintenance requirements.

Damage caused by incorrect or improper installation, misuse, connection to hot water, unsuitable water pressure, lack of required maintenance, or failure to follow recommended installation and operating requirements may not be covered under the product warranty.
